My drawings

I don't consider myself an artist. I'm largely self taught and follow artists on Instagram, in part, to find tips and tricks. Below is a small selection of some of the work I do. None of these were commissions, but around half ended up as gifts.

What I achieve between work

Solving problems

I've created a little phone holder (displayed using a remote so I could use my phone to capture it) to keep my phone accessible but out of direct sunlight.
And I've started learning how to pot and grow plants and flowers. From the sorry state of this pot I have a long way to go!

I've also just bought my 3rd piano. Hoping to learn again

Keeping myself occupied as been one of my highest priorities throughout my life. I find it easy to relax, but without hobbies, interests or something new to learn, I begin to get agitated and restless. I'm not an engineer or a gardener, but I'll do my best to keep trying new things. I'm like that in my downtime and at work.

2023 has been a challenging year. I've lived on and off in the US and now I'm back in Warsaw with my team.

This year is about practicing wellness and taking time out to concentrate on emotional and mental health.

What am I reading?

Not sure if you can tell, but I don't read a huge about of fiction. I read 'Of Mice and Men' and 'To Kill A Mockingbird' in 2018. They were brilliant and served to occupy my time as I flew back and forth to Poland
The books I'm currently reading are Forces of Nature, by Brian Cox; The Grand Design, by Stephen Hawking; and Venice, by Jan Morris

What else?

The next book I'll read is On the Trail of Genghis Khan by Tim Cope. I was sent a YouTube clip by a friend and felt compelled to get his book
But I get my information from many other sources, primarily through Twitter and the links shared by individuals and organisations to external sites.

Can you tell a lot from what someone is reading? I'm not sure.
